LaKelle Brawley is a 29-year-old artist from Decatur, Alabama. From sketching and coloring at the age of two, she has explored the vibrant world of acrylic painting. LaKelle's artistic path has been self-taught and deeply fulfilling. LaKelle's work has been showcased in various exhibitions in Decatur, including the “Dance of the Dragonflies” exhibit and a pottery piece “Sadako Sasaki,” which now graces the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge’s annual “Cranes Festival.”

LaKelle has discovered new avenues for creativity. The pandemic in 2020 reignited her passion for painting, which has lead to her participating in local exhibits like “Embracing Art” at the Carnegie Arts Museum. LaKelle is excited to continue to create art for the world to see and enjoy.
